By 2040, America’s workforce is expected to be the most ethnically diverse in this country’s history. It will comprise adults who must be able to effectively interact with culturally diverse individuals, utilizing ever-changing technologies and providing innovative problem-solving skills to meet unprecedented challenges. America’s economic future relies on today’s children becoming part of a skilled and creative workforce that is available here in Georgia, as well as empowered to thrive globally. The Georgia Vision Project invites stakeholders at the local, county, state and regional levels to help move public education in Georgia from a place of compliance to one of innovation and creativity. One step at a time, we are manifesting the vision of an equitable and excellent education for all Georgia students, supporting our children – Georgia’s most valuable asset – and assuring the economic future of this State and Country.
“There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long -range risks and costs of comfortable inaction.” John F . Kennedy
