Edgenuity to support strategic planning work within GA public school districts
Scottsdale, AZ – August 29, 2018 – Edgenuity, a leading provider of online curriculum and instructional services for the K-12 market, has announced a partnership with The Georgia Vision Project, a multi-year initiative to research and implement world-class educational standards, viable directives, sustainable frameworks and organized contemporary networks for educating all of Georgia’s children.
Edgenuity’s partnership with the Georgia Vision Project will reinforce the strategic planning work the organization does within Georgia’s public school districts. Edgenuity’s contribution to the partnership will also support the advancement of the SPARK! Campaign, an advocacy program which aims to “ignite a spark in Georgia public school students,” and change perceptions about public education in Georgia by highlighting success stories from students, teachers and administrators across the state.
“We look forward to partnering with the Georgia Vision Project and furthering all the extremely positive work they do in the name of Georgia students and schools,” said Sari Factor, CEO of Edgenuity. “We share in the Georgia Vision Project’s commitment to helping people at every level – including students, parents, educators and policymakers – understand the possibilities that come from improving the way our children learn.”
“Our partnership with Edgenuity is an exciting chance to raise awareness of our goals and continue the progress we’ve been able to demonstrate thus far,” said Dr. Stan DeJarnett, Executive Director of the Georgia Vision Project. “The SPARK! Campaign is all about passion – passion for learning, teaching, and everything in between. Edgenuity is known for fostering that passion in students and teachers alike, and we appreciate their contribution to our cause.”
