New Vision Project/Spark Contribution
- On April 19, 2016
We recently received a contribution from Georgia Power in the amount of $10,000 to support the Vision Project and Spark Campaign! Georgia Power’s support of our Teaching and Learning Component, particularly the STEM/STEAM initiatives around Georgia, is helping transform Georgia schools. Thanks to GA Power’s Mickey Daniell for his leadership in securing this funding. I know he would appreciate your extending a “thank you” to the Georgia Power representative in your local community.
UPCOMING VISION PROJECT/SPARK EVENTS:
April 20: Vision Project on program for Positive Athlete NE GA Awards Banquet
April 21: Vision Project presentation to GSBA’s Superintendent Advisory Council
April 27: Vision Project and Marketing partner ADDO presentation to the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Educated Subcommittee
May 10-11: Vision Project presentation at the Georgia RESA Summit
May 13-14: Vision Project presentation at the GSBA Board of Directors Meeting
June 9: IMPORTANT: VISION PROJECT STEERING COMMITTEE AND PARTNER COMMITTEE MEETING – 4:00 p.m. in the Verelst/Percival Room, Hyatt Hotel, Savannah
I hope you will share this information with your members, friends and other supporters of Georgia’s public school students and educators. Building a single vision for public education that can change the education culture in Georgia takes coordinated and collective effort over time. We appreciate your support!
Forward,
Stan DeJarnett
